Xtreme Couture Fighters Prepare for Affliction Banned

Vitor Belfort, Mike Pyle and Mike Whitehead are putting in countless hours in the gym in preparation for the their fights next Saturday at Affliction Banned. The trio of fighters from the Las Vegas gym will be joined by Mark Hominick who is training out of the Xtreme Couture Gym in Toronto.

Vitor has been putting in a lot of time with Head Coach Shawn Tompkins. The Phenom tells us this is the first time in seven years that he has been part of a real team and had a coach. To that end, Tompkins tells us that Vitor looks phenomenal in training and that fans can expect to see the Vitor of old when he steps into the ring with Terry Martin. That fight will be part of the free broadcast on FOX Sports that leads in to the Pay Per View.

Both Pyle and Belfort have been working with Strength & Conditioning Coach Jake Bonacci. Bonacci, called the secret weapon of Team Couture, says that both men are in top physical condition and would be able to go all 5 rounds in a championship fight today.

Mike Pyle takes on the dangerous J.J. Ambrose while Mike Whitehead faces Renato “Babalu” Sobral. Those two fights will take place on the Pay Per View Broadcast. Affliction Banned is live on Pay Per View Saturday July 19th at 10ET/7PT.
