Boxing Coach Ron Frazier takes a look at UNDEFEATED tonight’s boxing card headlined by “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather and Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton.
I think it’s going to be a great fight. Ricky’s a very good fighter. I know he comes into tonight’s fight a lot of accolades. But I have a few questions. I know he has beaten some very good fighters, such as Vince Phillips, Ben Tackie, Kosta Tszyu, and Jose Luis Castillo. But all of them have been past their prime when he has beaten them. Tonight he steps in with the pound for pound best fighter in the world and they are both at their best right now.
While Floyd is the betting favorite, Ricky is overwhelmingly the public favorite. But I think it is going to be a sad night for the public. I think Floyd wins in a 12-round decision.
(Editor’s note: The author of this blog thinks Ricky Hatton is going to apply constant pressure to Floyd and land a liver shot stopping the Pretty Boy in the middle rounds.)
