Last Thursday the Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation hosted its first Charity Golf Tournament at Rhodes Ranch golf course here in Las Vegas, NV. The event was designed to raise money and awareness for wounded U.S. soldiers. Everyone that attended, including the many celebrities, were very giving to the cause in both support and donations. We were overwhelmed with the turn out and want to extend our thanks to everyone that made this event such a huge success!

Below are some great pictures of the event, some of the group shots we took, and some shots of our raffle winners. Everyone had fun at the event, including all of us that help put it on!

Operation All-In a Major Success

Posted: January 14, 2008 by Xtreme Couture MMA in Operation All In, xtreme couture GI Foundation

Operation All-In raised more than $90,000 for the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation. Steve Cyr and the team at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino did an amazing job in helping to put on the event. Thanks are also due to the gold folks at ESPN Radio, FOX Sports Radio, Area 107.9 and Komp 92.3 for helping to get the word out.

Dean Cain, Montell Williams, David Wells, Phil Gordon, Jamie Gold, Scott Ian from Anthrax and Jose Canseco were some of the celebs who took part. They joined Randy, Frank Trigg, Stephan Bonnar, Tyson Griffin, Gray Maynard and Gina Carano from the MMA world and about 130 other folks in a No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em tournament.  James Scott a Las Vegas local and avid poker player won the event.  He graciously donated part of his $20,000 in winnings to the GI Foundation.

The event was a huge hit and we’re going to do it again next year.

Randy Speaks At Military Homecoming Ball!

Posted: November 20, 2007 by Xtreme Couture MMA in Uncategorized, xtreme couture GI Foundation

In early April Xtreme Couture was contacted to see if Randy would be willing to attend a military homecoming ball for soldiers returning from Iraq. The coordinator, an active duty wife, mentioned how Randy had taken the time to visit the guys in Iraq last summer “To this day, we still hear stories about his visit from our husbands. Our husbands are huge “Randy” fans but believe it or not, we have some very hard-core “Randy” fans in our wives as well. ” The men and women served a total of 15-16 months and were returning home late October. The huge celebration was for their return. “We continue to live ordinary lives at home while they put ordinary aside for extraordinary! This will also be the first occasion our battalion has to collectively say farewell to our fallen soldiers.”

“It was truly an honor to be part of the welcoming home ball for the 2/3 infantry patriots and the striker battalion. What a great pleasure to meet the soldiers and their families. Their enthusiasm and patriotism continues to impress me. Both my wife and myself look forward to new ways to support the troops.” ~Randy Couture

The party was filled with enthusiasm as Randy took the majority of the evening mingling with the soldiers, signing autographs and taking photos.

Nevada’s lovely First Lady Dawn Gibbons visited the gym Tuesday. She’s a big fan of The Natural. And she’s super nice. Dawn first met Randy during the Crystal Darkness campaign here in Vegas. Turns out a lot of teens in our city and State are using Crystal Meth. Randy is going to do a Public Sevice Announcement for the campaign and the Governor’s wife has offered to help us promote the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation.
