The Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, was founded by Randy Couture to honor the veterans of America’s Armed Forces. The foundation was especially formed to raise money and awareness for those wounded in action and their families. To date, more than 24,000 U.S. troops have been wounded in the war against terrorism, which doesn’t include the many more suffering the mental effects.

Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns and blast injuries that will retire these brave men and woman from the armed forces. Even though some of these men and woman are severely injured, they have the courage, strength and determination to win this battle.

The Xtreme Couture G.I. Foundation’s goal is to help these brave men and women fulfill any of their unmet needs as they return back to civilian life.

Xtreme Couture’s Amateur team has three guys to watch this weekend at two different venues.  See Zac Chance versus Trace Gray, Troy Remer versus Jimmy Like, and Shane Johnson versus Nikko Cataline at The Orleans on Friday night, while Pro Fighter Jimmy Jones takes on Micah Stockton and Amateur John Hahn battles Todd Willingham at The Eastside Cannery in Henderson on Saturday night at 7pm.

Tonight the Xtreme Couture Amateur Team is in action against Team Quest’s Amateur team.

In the night’s co-main event, Tuff-N-Uff 145-pound champion Jimmy Jones (6-3) represents Xtreme Couture against Team Quest challenger Jon Gorton (4-2).

An eight-time Tuff-N-Uff veteran, Jones opened his career in 2008 with three-straight decision losses. Since then, Jones has gone on a tear with six-straight wins – including four via stoppage – en route to claiming Tuff-N-Uff’s 145-pound title.

Meanwhile, Gorton, who earned a submission win under the Tuff-N-Uff banner in August 2009, has put together a 4-2 record and looks to halt Jones’ impressive run.
